AirMax1-a-Day Gallery
Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 04:33PM Visual interpretations of the classic Nike Air Max 1. This started out as a month long project to post one a day, but the madness kept going until I hit 50. Newest entries are posted at the top.
UPDATE: I just turned this into a KICKSTARTER project, MAX100: The Book and would be grateful if you'd check it out, support it and spread the word.

I love this take on a classic American-turn-global icon. Well played sir! Can I request to see what the Paul Rand version of this would look like?
How about a picasso.
This is brilliant and superbly executed. Well done.
Olly and Frank! So rad. Nice work man, keep it up.
Well done, love the Creature.
Mark Weaver! Amazing addition.
you might be my favorite person. and i don't even know you.
Nice designs! My favorite is Aaron.
Love it. I'll be posting this on my blog. Great work you've got here.

All of these are amazing! Great subject matter and executions.
Haha, these are awesome. Well done!
Wow! Great work, all, but "Five Lions" needs to happen for real. Well done.
Great work—nicely executed!
they all look amazing. such a great project.
hmmm... not sure if simply regurgitating a person's style in a paint-by-numbers fashion is really doing it for me, as this definitely seems to be The Trend these days: the only difference here being that matt actually CREDITS the person he's stealing from :) ... not trying to be all negative though: they are fun and the project dedication is great to see.
Oh my, it's not only impressive, but humbling as well, you are very talented.
Great job & Inspiring stuff. That's quite a "who's who" of illustration talent you've got going on! I love Jessica Hische's & Feltron's the most. This reminds me of a poster I designed for size? in the UK last year.
